Terms of Use
Effective August 1, 2026 · Last updated August 1, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Concrete Calc, also listed as “Concrete Estimator: Pro Tools,” and its related marketing, demo, support, and legal pages. By downloading, purchasing, or using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Concrete Calc on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by App Store rules. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass purchase or access controls, interfere with the app, use it unlawfully, or misrepresent its output.
Estimating and construction disclaimer
Concrete Calc is an estimating and project-organization aid. It is not structural engineering, architectural, surveying, geotechnical, safety, legal, financial, or code-compliance advice. Results depend on the dimensions, units, allowances, yields, densities, mix assumptions, and other information you enter.
Before bidding, ordering, pumping, placing, reinforcing, forming, or building, independently verify measurements, plans, specifications, waste, subgrade, excavation, form movement, compaction, supplier yields, truck capacity, bag yield, reinforcement, concrete strength and slump, exposure, placement, access, scheduling, permits, safety requirements, and applicable codes with authoritative sources and qualified professionals.
You are responsible for all project decisions, orders, contracts, work, and safety. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for a safety-critical or high-value decision.
Review and verification features
Measurement acknowledgements, highlighted edits, verification reminders, project grouping, pour-order sheets, and PDF reports are workflow aids. They do not prove that an input, calculation, specification, or project is correct, complete, approved, or buildable. A “reviewed” or verified status means only that the in-app acknowledgement step was completed.
Subscriptions and purchases
The app may offer weekly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime non-consumable purchase. Current products, prices, billing periods, and feature access are displayed in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s then-current rules. Apple manages payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment methods. You can manage subscriptions in Apple Account settings and restore eligible purchases from the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Free and Pro access
The app may provide limited free tools, project capacity, or PDF shares and reserve additional tools, unlimited projects, unlimited sharing, or other functionality for Pro access. We may change the composition of free and paid features for future use, subject to applicable law and App Store rules. Existing valid purchase entitlements will be honored as described at purchase.
Your content and records
You retain responsibility for measurements, project and client details, supplier information, company branding, specifications, notes, reports, and other content you enter or export. You represent that you have permission to use and share that content. Review reports before distribution and keep independent copies of important project records.
Local storage and data loss
Projects are stored locally on your device. App deletion, device loss, storage failure, operating-system changes, or software errors may cause data loss. Support cannot recover content that existed only on your device. You are responsible for exporting and retaining records needed for your work, contracts, warranties, accounting, or legal obligations.
Third-party services
The app may rely on Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, document handling, printing, and system sharing. Those services are governed by their providers’ terms, privacy practices, and availability. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policies, purchase decisions, or content.
Updates and availability
We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue features, release updates, correct errors, or require a supported operating-system version. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation. Do not use the app where unavailable or delayed access could create a safety risk.
Intellectual property
Concrete Calc, its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, compatibility, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, incorrect estimates or orders, shortages or overages, rejected loads, rework, delay, property damage, injury, or claims arising from use of or inability to use Concrete Calc. Our total liability for claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Termination
These terms remain effective until terminated. Your rights end if you materially violate them. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for records—will survive.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms and will publish the revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
