YOUR DATA, CLEARLY
Privacy policy
Effective October 6, 2026
ScrollJail helps you earn time in selected social apps by doing push-ups. This policy describes data handled when you use the iOS app and its account, workout, and group features.
Information we handle
If you create an account or use sync and group features, we handle information such as your account ID, email address, display name, profile image you choose to upload, push-up counts, workout history, streaks, group membership, and challenge progress. This information supports your profile, saved progress, and group features.
If you contact support or send feedback, we receive the details and attachments you choose to send, including your email address and any photos or videos you attach. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to resolve your request.
Screen Time and camera
ScrollJail uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to apply restrictions to the apps and categories you choose. ScrollJail does not read what you do inside those apps. The app needs camera access to count push-ups. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not saved or uploaded as workout photos or videos.
How information is used
We use account and workout information to provide the app, save and sync progress, run groups and challenges, support purchases, respond to support requests, protect the service, and understand basic product interactions. Pseudonymous product events may be used for analytics and app improvement; these events are not used for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
Service providers and purchases
Apple processes App Store downloads, Screen Time permissions, and in-app purchases under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Firebase services may process account, sync, group, and app event data to operate the features described above. These providers handle information under their own privacy terms.
Retention and account deletion
We retain account, workout, group, and feedback information while needed to provide the features you use. You can request deletion using Delete Account in ScrollJail’s settings. Account deletion removes the associated profile and app data, subject to limited retention needed for security, legal obligations, or backup cleanup. Apple handles subscription cancellation separately; deleting a ScrollJail account does not cancel a subscription.
Your choices
You can change Screen Time and camera access in iOS Settings, choose which apps are protected in ScrollJail, control notifications in iOS Settings, and manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account. Email manhnt.bkit@gmail.com for privacy questions.
Children and policy changes
ScrollJail is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the app changes and will update the effective date above.
