Six short walkthroughs.
The working alongside.

See feet-inch math, decimal conversion, rafters, stairs, concrete and estimate PDFs before you choose the app.

These developer-produced videos were prepared on October 30, 2026 from real app screenshots captured earlier. Each is a 24-second captioned sequence, not a live interaction recording. There is no speech or music. Screens and labels may differ from the current release. The full captions and separate reference checks appear below each player.

Feet, inches and fractions

Text transcript

  1. Enter a feet-inch dimension.
  2. Use the dedicated unit and fraction keys.
  3. Read the feet-inch result above the keypad.

Reference check: 12 ft 7 3/8 in + 8 ft 11 3/4 in = 21 ft 7 1/8 in. This reference problem is separate from the illustrated screen.

Decimal feet to tape fractions

Text transcript

  1. Enter 10.5 as decimal feet.
  2. Convert to feet and inches.
  3. 10.5 feet = 10 feet 6 inches.

Reference check: 10.5 ft = 10 ft + (0.5 × 12) in = 10 ft 6 in.

Rafter length from run and pitch

Text transcript

  1. Enter pitch 6:12 and a 12 ft run.
  2. Review the common rafter result.
  3. Length: 13.42 ft. Plumb angle: 26.6 degrees.

Reference check: rise = 12 × 6/12 = 6 ft; length = √(12² + 6²) = 13.4164 ft, about 13 ft 5 in. Geometric length excludes ridge, overhang and connection allowances.

Risers, treads and total run

Text transcript

  1. Review total rise and your target dimensions.
  2. Compare riser count, tread count and total run.
  3. Check the applicable project and code requirements.

Separate reference case: total rise 105 in, maximum riser 7.75 in, tread run 10 in → ceil(105/7.75) = 14 risers, 7.5 in each; 13 treads and 130 in run for a flight ending at the upper landing. This is arithmetic, not a code approval.

Concrete volume with waste

Text transcript

  1. Example: 10 × 10 ft slab, 4 in thick.
  2. Include a 5% waste allowance.
  3. Review 1.30 cubic yards and the selected bag yield.

Reference check: 10 × 10 × (4/12) = 33.3333 ft³ = 1.234568 yd³ before waste; × 1.05 = 1.296296 yd³. At 0.60 ft³ per bag, ceil(35/0.60) = 59 bags. Use the yield printed on your actual product.

From line items to an estimate PDF

Text transcript

  1. Add line items and quantities.
  2. Review markup, tax and the estimate total.
  3. Use Share Estimate PDF for the handoff.

The screenshot uses the app’s built-in sample Kitchen Remodel estimate. Names and amounts are demonstration data. A simple separate line-item check is 28 sheets × $18.75 = $525 before other items, markup and tax.
