What the app is useful for
Contractors, carpenters and remodelers can work in tape-measure units, check common-rafter and stair geometry, estimate material quantities and keep calculations with a job. The app also includes blueprint takeoff and a Bid Builder for line items, markup, tax and estimate PDFs. Free web tools and app Pro access
The browser calculators are free to use without signing in. They are separate from the iOS app. The app is free to download, with limited introductory access; continuing app use after that period requires Pro. Some specialty, saving and export workflows are gated by access. Review what is unlocked in the app and the purchase terms Apple shows before committing. A lifetime purchase does not automatically cancel an existing subscription.
Offline and cross-device limits
Arithmetic, local calculators and local records can be used on the device. An offline calculator does not make purchases, maps or iCloud sync work without a connection. Saved-job metadata can synchronize through iCloud; attachment files remain on the device where they were added, so a synced entry may show an attachment title without its file. When to use another tool or check
The product site lists an iPhone and iPad release, not an Android release. LiDAR scanning needs compatible hardware. Calculation output does not choose structural members, verify a drawing revision or certify code compliance. Keep supplier yields, real measurements and the responsible professional’s specifications with the job.
